Our Story

Big Top cocktail shaker set was conceived as a Youmeus Design studio project and quickly turned into a labour of love. Inspired by the rise in consumer desire for more spontaneous and immersive experiences at home, Big Top takes inspiration from ‘the fun of the circus’.

All-In-One Design

Big Top delivers an all-in-one solution with its compact design and integrated storage. It neatly holds essential tools such as a bottle stopper, jigger, strainer, bottle opener, absinthe spoon, stirrer, zester, and cocktail stick, all elegantly unified in a beautiful golden pin design. When entertaining friends, just bring out the golden Big Top, and let the party begin.

Big Top’s integrated storage carrier is designed to sit within the pin and can be easily removed by pulling the internal tab.

Specification

Big Top consists of 11 parts, each crafted from premium materials that combine both functional and aesthetic appeal. These materials include stainless steel 304, valued for its durability and corrosion resistance, oak hardwood, and polycarbonate plastic. The shaker pin is elegantly finished with a durable PVD gold coating, which is more environmentally friendly than traditional plating.

Packaging

Big Top comes beautifully packaged in an elegant, eco-friendly tube made from 100% recycled cardboard. It features luxurious details, including gold foil graphic elements, making it the perfect luxury gift for birthdays, weddings and holidays.

1. When will Big Top be available?.
Big Top will be launching on Kickstarter shortly. The Kickstarter croud funding campaign will provide us with the capital needed to invest in production tooling. You will be able to pledge your support on our Kickstarter page and be among the first to receive this beautiful shaker.
Following our Kickstarter campaign you will also be able to purchase Big Top directly on our website.
In the meantime you can register your interest today, to be notified when this beautiful gold pin shaker becomes available.

2. Where can I get the glassware from?
The current Big Top glassware collection includes a Coupe, Highball, Double Old-Fashioned, and Single Old-Fashioned glasses. These can be purchased online directly at nude glass and other online retailers.

3. Will other colours or finishes be available?
We do plan to consider additional colour and finish SKU's once Big Top is fully in production.
